A part of you
I once met a man who did not like his shadow,
so i asked him: "Would it be good if it's gone tomorrow?"
He was smiling at me and said: "That would be nice!"
My first words were: "This is going to be an advice..."
The evening came and the man went to sleep.
How i did this, is a secret i keep.
The man woke up and jumped out of his bed.
He was alive but his shadow was dead.
As he walked on the street with a big smile,
other people pointed and spoke over him for a while.
Confused he increased his speed,
got to his workjob and took his seat.
More and more people saw and he went slim,
People asked: "Where is the shadow of him?"
He ran out of the building his hands over his head,
"No! No! it shouldn't be like that!"
I found him sitting infront of a wall,
talked to himself: "What did i want at all?"
His eyes were red dyed from crying,
"I NEED MY SHADOW BACK OR ELSE I'M DYING!"
"You need to look inside of yourself to know what you seak,
but you were to blind to see, that you are weak.
Fooled from images you have seen,
on the wrong path you have been."
I gave him back his shadow with my last sentence
He opened his eyes and saw his preferences:
"You can't change who you are, so let yourself be,
or noone, except your shadow gives you company."
